Sanctuary wasn’t built in a day-while we have made great strides in refining various aspects of Diablo II: Resurrected, we are dedicated to enhancing your pursuit of the Dark Wanderer even further. Because of this, we‘ve been closely monitoring your feedback around multiplayer lobbies, and the changes highlighted below are a direct result of this. In Patch 2.4.3., which goes live on June 29, we introduce a variety of new features and improvements set to elevate multiplayer lobbies for console and PC. Since this timeless classic was resurrected, daring heroes have diligently decimated ranks of hell-raising demons across all five acts of Diablo II: Resurrected, forever loosening the Lord of Terror’s hold on Sanctuary. This might seem like a pure "destruction" type thing and Baal would be the obvious choice, but the amount of hatred generated by these deletions is surely enough to entire ol' Meph.ĭ2R is getting some upgrades this week, as patch 2.4.3 brings many quality of life improvements and a fun weekend event! The main focus is on lobby updates to make it easier for players to actually find each other, then there's plenty of quality of life improvements, bug fixes, and the 50% extra magic find event starting on June 30th! Personally, I blame Mephisto so I used him as the header image for the article.

This is becoming more and more relevant for PC players as well, as many have been finding the controller-based gameplay to be pretty great and are switching over, so maybe give it a try (while slowly pressing buttons in the menus).

This is a pretty serious issue and hopefully we'll get some sort of delete confirmation windows added soon, but until then be VERY careful in the character menu if you're playing with a controller. However, accidental deletion of characters has also affected some keyboard and mouse players, as it's just too easy to instantly delete them, although not quite as much as on controllers: The primary concern is very much a controller-specific issue, as the required button presses are on the most used buttons (X and A on Xbox controllers) and we've now had several players reporting having deleted their high level characters because of it. In a week max the stability issues will be ironed out completely. Here's another warning for anyone playing with a controller (and even on mouse and keyboard to a lesser extent), whether it's on console or on PC, as deleting your character is entirely too easy and can happen to anyone! Comment by Virgo4Ever on T12:32:19-05:00Īnd this is why I refuse to pre-order any game from the to play on launch day. If only there was another method to play multiplayer that doesn't rely on a single point of failure.I don't know something like tcp/ip? Comment by Roxlox on T12:26:14-05:00
I love the clean game releases of Blizzard. Just bought the game and I already regret it. what kind of cloudc engeneering shenanigans needs to happend ? the guys there didnt foresee this ? blizzard dont have the talent because they are cheap ? Comment by talonzor on T12:07:10-05:00 Yeah this sucks i was hoping to play with a fella. The latest three WoW expansion starts were smooth. Rule #1 of Blizzard game.Never day 1 and expect a good time. If you don't see your characters or it appears to have been de-leveled, try restarting .īlizzard recently added this banner to the launcher, and posted a tweet noting the issues. It also appears that missing and rolled back characters are showing up properly again, with lost levels restored, however, many players are still reporting issues with game creation. This does not appear to have affected all players however, as some were able to continue playing without interruption. Quin was among several to find their characters missing after getting disconnected, although his and other affected characters were quickly restored.
Diablo II: Resurrected is proving to be extremely popular, with over 400,000 views on Twitch so far, but players have begun experiencing problems with disconnecting and finding their characters missing or rolled back! Although affected characters appear to have been restored, many players are still unable to create new games while Blizzard sorts out the issues.
